We are delighted to announce that we are running our highly popular Taster Workshops for children in Years 4 and 5 this term. A History session is being run on Tuesday 4 April 2017 and Geography session is on Tuesday 9 May 2017.
Workshops will run as follows:
3.30: Arrival, registration and tea and coffee in the glass dining room for parents (where you can remain throughout or participate in the workshop alongside your son/daughter).
3.45: Session begins
5.00: Session ends and students return to the glass dining room to be picked up.
Tuesday 4 April 2017: History Session – Tuesday 4 April 2017: History Session – Murder and Mystery – can you solve the terrible murder of the Tolland Man. Who was he? What happened to him and why was he murdered. Using historical and archaeological skills can you solve this crime?
Tuesday 9 May 2017: Geography – students will get creative and design their own shoebox rainforest habitat, looking at plant and animal adaptations of this area under threat.
